Dear Pals,

After selling two businesses, one on stuffed animals and the other on teaching emotions to children, I realized I wanted to combine these two passions. The connection between stuffed animals and children is beautiful; they provide comfort, companionship, and a sense of security. But beyond that, I saw the incredible potential in directly teaching emotional behavior to children through these cuddly pals. A mission that started with wanting to create businesses that had impact became something I saw as a need in today’s environment. To see children’s faces light up and learn emotional development through play is truly magical.

Helping our children embrace their emotions. I knew I had to create Moody Pals to pass on the power of emotional intelligence to future generations. It’s about teaching kids not to dwell on negative emotions, but to see them as part of their journey and their story. Embracing all emotions, both good and bad, helps them grow into well-rounded, empathetic individuals.

The first pal is the story of Tumble, a character who makes a lot of mistakes. Tumble’s story is inspired by my own journey of feeling embarrassed about my mistakes, and learning that those mistakes are what make me who I am. Through Tumble and other Moody Pals, we aim to teach invaluable emotional intelligence and mindfulness for children as they bud into who they are meant to be.

Moody Pals is more than just a stuffed animal brand; it’s a mission to help children understand and embrace all their emotions. Each plush toy is designed to be a cuddly companion and a teaching tool, providing comfort and lessons on emotional intelligence. I hope that through Moody Pals, we can create a brighter, more emotionally aware future for all children.
